A Santa Fe family business for generations
Owned and operated by three members of the Pedro and Concha Quintana family, the Guadalupe Inn was built on the site of their grandfather's store in the oldest district of Santa Fe, a stone's throw from the historic Santuario de Guadalupe, and a 6 block walk to the Santa Fe Plaza. The Inn stands on Agua Fria Street, once the famous Camino Real, an ancient route connecting northern New Mexico to Mexico, traversed for centuries by Indian and then Hispanic traders.
The Inn was built in the classic Spanish architecture of historic Santa Fe, with careful thought put into the use of every inch of space throughout the grounds. A tour of The Guadalupe Inn provides a sense of yesteryear with eye-catching details from the balconies and garden paths.
Authentic traditional Santa Fe style
Wood, tin and copper hold a special place in innkeepers hearts. Grandpa Sanchez was an accomplished carpenter. All of the beds are handmade works of one of the owners or one of their friends. Tin and copper hand-tooled sconces, light fixtures and furniture are also in evidence, all contributions of one of the owners, a son or cousins. The Guadalupe Inn offers a "truly Santa Fe experience" in the only Santa Fe Bed and Breakfast that is owned and operated by a native Santa Fe family.
